Welcome Reception

The Welcome Reception provides a wonderful opportunity to meet up with other conference participants. Included in registration fees.

Sydney Harbour Lunch Cruise

12:40 pm bus departure from the conference venue, 1:25 pm boat departure from #7 jetty, King Street Wharf.

After boarding at King Street Wharf number 7 at Darling Harbour, you will enjoy a buffet lunch (cash bar available) while taking in the spectacular views of Darling Harbour, Barangaroo, the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Luna Park, Taronga Zoo, Sydney Opera House, Lady Macquarie's Chair, Fort Denison and Rose Bay among others. You will have the opportunity to disembark at the Man O'War Wharf Steps at the Sydney Opera House at 4.10pm or return to King Street Wharf, Darling Harbour at 4.30pm. Make your own arrangements for the return transfer to your hotel.

$65 for participants or accompanying persons, includes a one-way bus transfer to King St Wharf.

City Highlights and Bondi Beach Bus Tour

Bus will depart from the conference venue at 1:30 pm.

You will pass through the historical Rocks area and Circular Quay as your driver/guide tells you about the history and significance of the areas. You will have the opportunity to view the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge from Mrs Macquarie's Chair, a chair specially designed for the governor's wife to look out over the harbour. You will then travel through Chinatown, Kings Cross and Double Bay before stopping at "The Gap", the heads of the Harbour, for photo opportunities. You will then travel to Bondi Beach to visit the beachfront promenade, see bronzed Aussie lifesavers & one of Sydney's favourite panoramic views. Enjoy a coffee or cool drink (at own cost). Tour returns at 5:30 pm and will drop off either near Central Station or back at the Abercrombie School of Business at the University of Sydney.

A Night of Music: West Side Story at the Sydney Opera House

7:30 pm Joan Sutherland Theatre, Sydney Opera House, Circular Quay

Book EARLY through the registration procedure to avoid disappointment. We have pre-purchased a limited number of tickets, which will be available for sale to delegates and accompanying persons on a first-come first-served basis.

The Sydney Opera House is considered by many to be one of the wonders of the modern world and is the perfect location to enjoy the internationally celebrated production of West Side Story. Hailed as the greatest Broadway musical of all time, director Joey McKneely's vibrant new staging will feature some of Australia's most exciting young talent performing Jerome Robbins' original ground-breaking choreography.

APATCC 2019 Conference Banquet

7:00 pm Le Montage (A Navarra venue). Book through the registration procedure.

Don't miss the official Conference Banquet. This picturesque setting combined with excellent food and wines will ensure a memorable evening for everyone. The price includes pre-dinner drinks and canapes to start, followed by a three-course dinner with specially selected wines, beers and soft drinks. Bus transfers will be provided from either Adina Chippendale or the Adina Apartment Central Sydney. Buses will take participants over the distinctive Anzac Bridge to exquisite Le Montage, an architecturally designed contemporary waterfront venue located on the shores of Iron Cove Bay. Return bus transfers will leave at either 10.20 pm or 11.10 pm.

This ticket price is subsidised for delegates at $110. The price for accompanying persons is $130.
